Happy NEW Year!

It’s a week into the new year (and new decade!), and I’m easing my way back into work and gearing up for another year of transition. I made a goal to be more intentional about my business and art this year, and that means some exciting changes.

Here’s what’s new:

New name. First things first, have you noticed that my website has changed?! Formerly Frameworthy Designs, we’re now tarawrightillustration.com and on Instagram @tarawrightillustration.

New direction. Why the change? After moving from OK to NYC (and currently VA), I struggled to maintain a product-based business. Managing inventory and shipping consistently was tough. I knew something had to change. After more than a year of discernment, I’m shifting the direction of my business to more project-based work like illustration, commissioned art, and one-of-a-kind pieces.

New process. But, that doesn’t mean you won’t see some products from me. In fact, I still have a good amount of inventory for sale and I do plan on creating new products. This year, my goal is to release small batches of hand-crafted pieces a few times during the year. I’ll be exploring different techniques and trying my hand at curating collections. I’m eager to push myself as an artist and see what resonates with others.

New email newsletter. Along with these changes, I’m also jazzing up my e-newsletter! Starting Jan. 9, I’ll send a monthly email that will include sneak peeks into what I’m working on, creative inspiration for your own life, and updates about new work and products. If you aren’t on the email list, join right here!
